At Monday’s meeting, we were privileged to hear from Dee Marincic about THRIVE TOGETHER. As the only organization of its kind in Wisconsin, they are a leader in youth, family, and community mental health prevention. Their mission is to empower schools, families, and communities with proven, trusted programs that strengthen resilience, encourage early support, and foster lifelong wellbeing.
Through evidence-based modalities, their 25 licensed clinicians have already reached more than 10,000 youth. They utilize interactive activities to boost social and emotional skills—focusing on coping strategies, prevention, trust, responsibility, and self-esteem.
Dee highlighted several upcoming events, including resilience-building workshops throughout the year, "Bingo for Bags," and a Women and Daughters Luncheon in May. Currently, Dee and her team are seeking strong, mutually beneficial business partnerships to further their mission. You can learn more at thrivetogetherwi.org.
A huge thank you to fellow Rotarian Cris Rosario! Cris runs the Midwest Paddle Festival, which takes place every July and proudly stands as Wisconsin's longest-running stand-up paddleboard (SUP) event.
On Monday, Cris generously presented a check from the event's proceeds to the club. We are incredibly grateful for this donation and Cris's continued dedication to our community!
