The Oconomowoc Rotary "Service Over Self" (SOS) Committee is the heart of our commitment to fellowship and well-being. It embodies the core Rotary principle where personal interests are set aside to uplift others and create a lasting, positive impact within our Club and the Oconomowoc community.
The lasting impact of even a small act of kindness includes:
- Building a stronger, more compassionate Club and community.
- Inspiring others to lead with empathy and generosity.
- Creating a ripple effect of kindness and civic engagement.
Caring for Our Own:
The SOS Committee's primary focus is the well-being and mutual support of our fellow Oconomowoc Rotary members. We are here to offer a confidential and caring safety net for Rotarians experiencing a difficult time, whether due to illness, personal hardship, or other challenges.
We follow up on concerns by:
- Offering discrete outreach and a listening ear.
- Connecting members with appropriate club resources.
- Organizing assistance (such as cards, visits, or meals) when appropriate and welcome.
- Ensuring members feel valued and supported by their Rotary family.
