What We Provide

• Our club traditionally brings Beef/Pot Roast with vegetables, potatoes, and sides.
• Please check the current guest census, available on Family Promise website on the Volunteer page, to help you plan appropriately.
• Please prepare enough for the families. If someone doesn’t make it to dinner at the apartment shelter then Family Promise will deliver the meal to them.
• We will serve the dinner as part of our volunteer role.

If you want to prepare food but can’t attend: Please drop your dish off by 4:00 PM the same day to one of the members who is driving over.

Wednesday Meals at The Meadows Are Back!

We’re excited to welcome back Wednesday night meals at The Meadows for our Apartment Shelter guests! Volunteers will have the opportunity to prepare and serve a warm, homemade meal to families in the Apartment Shelter Program at Family Promise of Waukesha County.

If you're planning to cook, please check the current guest census, available on our website on the Volunteer page, to help you plan appropriately.

Arrival time: Please arrive at The Meadows by 5:00 PM to set up.

Serving time: Dinner will be served promptly at 5:30 PM.

We recommend forming a group of 2–4 volunteers to help prepare, serve, and clean up the meal together.

Wednesday Q&A Meals

Escort residents from their rooms or floors to the Bingo area and back again. Assist residents with playing Bingo, where needed, and keep the prizes stocked and reachable to the winners.
